At Easton Roofing, we've done
our best to create a web site that anticipates
and satisfies our customers' needs. With that
goal in mind, we've compiled a list of
frequently asked questions.
Q. How can I see actual
samples of roofing that I am interested in?
A. Easton Roofing makes your
selection easy by bringing samples of roofing
you are considering directly to the convenience
of your home.
Q. We store items in our
attic do we need to protect them?
A. Yes, as a precaution we
recommend you cover any items stored in your
attic. During the re-roofing process saw dust
and dirt that is attached to the underside of
your roof sheathing may fall off.
Q. What do we do about
items that are attached to the roof such as
satellite dishes, antennas and basketball nets?
A. Talk to your Easton
Roofing representative. We try to work with you
the homeowner in such cases. Most of the time
we can lift up and remove these items after any
wires have been removed first by others. You
will need to have your satellite technician
reinstall your dish and any roof antennas after
we are complete with the re-roofing process.
Q. Do you recommend
installing snow & ice shield on our new roof?
A. Yes, Easton Roofing
strongly recommends anyone installing a new roof
apply snow & ice shield to all eaves and
valleys.
Q. Why does Easton Roofing
remove all old roofing?
A. Although roof layovers
look to offer quick profits for the roofing
company and seemingly cost saving for the
homeowner we at Easton Roofing believe
otherwise. This is one roofing installation we
believe can have future pitfalls.
Q. How long will it take
to replace my roof?
A. A lot of variables come
into play when estimating how much time you
should allow for roof replacement. Most average
roofs can be replaced in 1-2 days although many
factors must be considered.
Q. Are all water stains
and leaks caused by roofing problems?
A. No, Many other problems
can cause leaks that appear to be roof related.
HVAC units mounted in attics can have clogged
drain pans & pipes. Bath fans installed and
vented improperly can cause a whole host of
problems. Poorly vented attics can create
condensation in different areas that may mimic
roof leaks. In short it’s best to have a
roofing professional diagnose any possible
roofing leaks.
Q. Do I need to stay home
when Easton Roofing replaces my roof?
A. No, you may keep your
normal schedule although contact phone numbers
are helpful to keep you informed as we replace
your roof.
These are just a few answers
