We, the citizens of the city of Columbus, petition city
officials to install Green Roof technology on all city owned buildings. This
environmentally friendly system not only reduces the heat island effect, but
also lowers energy costs, and earns the city Federal Tax Credits. The green roof
system is currently being used in New York City and Chicago. Please sign this
petition to send a message to Columbus City Council and Mayor Michael Coleman
that we, the citizens, want Columbus to GO GREEN.
